“Shadow Shadow Baby,” from my upcoming album, Train Insane, is about falling in love with someone online and following them along their journey. It’s more common these days than you would think.
I self-produced the track. It was a fun yet nerve wracking process as it was during the height of summer and my engineer kept saying that the computer might crash and we could lose everything.
That feeling was under the surface during recording “Shadow Shadow Baby,” which captures the mood of a carefree, rock ‘n’ roll song.
You’re not alone if you have a crush on someone online or a crush on anyone in general. Even if you don’t want anything to happen because of your crush, it’s the feeling of the chase that’s the fun part.
