BiographyAs a kid, Dempsey grew up listening tothe soulful likesOtis Redding and Stevie Wonder whilealso taking interest in other areas of expression. Art that attracted his attention was often darkand tragic such as the works of painter Mark Rothko or dystopian writer Philip K. Dick. While inschool, he started producing demo tracks in his home studio inspired byartists who seamlesslyfused R&B with other genres; artists likeJack Garratt, James Vickery and R.LUM.R. Whilegetting his degree in Astrophysics at the University of Alberta Dempseyfoundhimself longingmore and more to pursue music.
